Construction Update JUNE 2026

We’re pleased to share the latest progress from site at 130 Lambert.

Basement Construction

Basement construction across all three levels is advancing well, with works now reaching ground level at the western corner of the site. This significant milestone marks the project’s transition from below-ground construction toward the levels above.

We’ve captured this progress through recent drone footage, which gives a great sense of the scale and quality of what’s been built so far.

Weather Impacts

As with many construction projects during Queensland’s wetter months, persistent rain has caused some delays to scheduled concrete pours. The team is managing these impacts carefully and works are continuing as conditions allow.

Permanent Power

We’re also pleased to report a key project milestone: permanent power has now been commissioned at 130 Lambert.

Energex energised the pad mount transformer on 9 June, connecting the site to the grid following the completion of contractor works earlier in the year. The site is no longer reliant on generator power and diesel fuel supplies, which is a positive step for both the efficiency and continuity of construction going forward.
